Profits from the retreat help support Waterfall Charity projects, including education for orphans and vulnerable children, water access, solar power, food programmes and community development across Tanzania.

Located on the quieter island of Pemba, Waterfall Retreat offers guests an authentic experience away from mass tourism, with sea-view accommodation, halal food, prayer facilities and access to local community projects.

Our Story

Waterfall Charity has been working in Tanzania since 2013, supporting vulnerable communities through education, housing, water projects, food programmes and long-term sustainability initiatives.

Waterfall Retreat was created as a waqf-inspired project — a self-sustaining model where hospitality income helps fund ongoing charitable work.
