At Waterfall Retreat, our volunteering programmes give schools and groups the opportunity to support local and orphan children through meaningful educational and community projects on Pemba Island.
Participants can assist with classroom activities, tutoring, sports, arts programmes and environmental initiatives while experiencing a peaceful halal environment focused on purpose, learning and cultural exchange.
Our volunteer experiences are flexible and can be tailored around your school schedule, group size and objectives, creating an impactful experience for both students and the local community.
Projects may include educational support, beach clean-ups, tree planting, youth activities and community engagement programmes designed to encourage teamwork, leadership and global awareness.
